Last year the Low Pay Commission (LPC) put forward an increase to the National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage which will benefit around 2.4 million UK workers.
Back in October 2018, the chancellor Philip Hammond confirmed that the Government accepted in full the LPC’s recommendations, which are set to take effect from 1stApril 2019. Please see minimum wage rates below:

Employees must be paid at the new rates from 1stApril 2019.
