When you see a post on social media that you identify with, what do you do?
I am genuinely interested, because my job entails supporting stressed out and overwhelmed employers. I can see who is viewing, liking and connecting with me but I’m also really interested in helping those who don’t want to admit they are struggling online or share their woes. Well, who can blame them when their employees might see their comments, right?!
Do you comment anyway and share your opinions, worries, vulnerabilities and gripes? Do you ‘like’ the post, view the author’s profile or ask them to connect? Do you call or message the author to continue the conversation offline? Or do you do nothing and continue scrolling?
If it’s the last option and you think I can help, please message me so that we can have a conversation on your terms. Who knows, we may just figure out a solution together.
