Walking for justice

Your HR Lawyer is walking for justice by taking part in the Legal Walk 2016.

The sun is shining and it is a glorious day, but even if it was raining and pouring we would still be out walking, in full force to support such a great cause! The walk is organised by Midland Legal Support Trust, they are a grant-making charity, formed in 2010 to raise and distribute funds to organisations providing free legal advice services in the Midland region of England.

 

So why are we walking?

The recession has caused increased poverty but reduced support services have meant that the number of advice centers has reduced. The money raised will be used to support organisations that help prevent families from being made homeless, prevent destitution, help older people gain the support to which they are entitled to and help women and children who have been trafficked for domestic servitude or prostitution.
